The dreadful SILENT HILL: REVELATION (at least in this sucker’s opinion) and the awesome UNIVERSAL SOLDIER: DAY OF RECKONING are both making their way to Blu-ray and DVD this winter, so if you missed these titles in the theater (or VOD in the latter’s case), we now know when you can spot them.

SILENT HILL: REVELATION hits on FEBRUARY 12th. In it, Heather Mason (Adelaide Clemens) and her father (Sean Bean) have always tried to stay one step ahead of the malevolent forces intent on their destruction. But on the eve of her 18th birthday, a dangerous revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in a nightmarish landscape forever.

Unfortunately, there are no special features listed at this time. Either that, or there are no special features. Because the movie would be special enough.

Meanwhile, UNIVERSAL SOLDIER: DAY OF RECKONING will drop on JANUARY 22nd. That film kicks off when John (Scott Adkins) wakes up from a coma to discover his wife and daughter were slaughtered in a brutal home invasion. Haunted by images of the attack, he vows to kill the man responsible, Luc Deveraux (Jean Claude Van Damme). While John tries to piece his reality back together, things get more complicated when he is pursued by a relentless UniSol (Andrei Arlovski). As John gets closer to Deveraux and the rogue army of genetically enhanced warriors led by back-from-the-dead leader Andrew Scott (Dolph Lundgren), John discovers more about himself and begins to call into question everything he believed to be true.

The disc will feature an Audio Commentary by director John Hyams and Dolph Lundgren, as well as the following featurettes:

– Coming Into Focus’ : looks at the characters in the film, the making-of several sequences, and the challenges of shooting those scenes.
– ‘There Is No End’ : Chronicles the final scene along with the weapons and stunts used to create it.
– ‘Production Wrap’ : Cast and crew discus the production of the film, along with an in-depth look at some of the last days on set, fight rehearsals and stunt choreography.
