Sean Connery’s coming back to the Bond franchise. Only this time he won’t be asking for Martini’s shaken, not stirred, he’ll be shoving those Martini’s up Bond’s ass as a supposed villain in the upcoming QUANTUM OF SOLACE. He apparently recently relayed the following little nugget: “I wouldn’t mind coming back as a Bond villain. But I don’t think they would pay me enough. They don’t pay the money for other parts, only for the Bond character, although that wasn’t the case when I was doing it.” This is a silly rumor, of course, but it’s a relatively slow news day and we haven’t had some good Bond rumor mongering in quite a while. Now if only someone would decode the film’s title. That’s the scoop we’re all dying to get.
