Edgar Wright‘s adaptation of Marvel’s ANT-MAN is a good few years away, but at least we know it IS a few years away and not some rumored project that may or may not happen. Last year, Wright debuted a concept teaser trailer for the film, which was praised to no end by those who witnessed it, but never found the time to sneak online. Until now. The footage was shown at Adam Buxton’s UK show The Best of Bug, where it was once again met with enthusiastic applause.
It’s the first I’ve seen of it and I must admit it’s pretty damn bad ass to see ANT-MAN in action. It’s got all the clever, fast-paced, hard-hitting style and technique that Wright is known for, even if we’re watching it through a cell phone camera. I’d love to see a high res version (duh), but this will do for now. If nothing else, this should get your movie engine revving for the possibilities in store for us in 2015.

Originally part of Marvel’s Phase 2, ANT-MAN is now leading the charge along with DR. STRANGE for Marvel’s Phase 3, which is set to begin after THE AVENGERS 2. If you’re a Marvel nerd like me, this shit is all gravy on the mashed potatoes. I could’nt be more excited to see all this shake out.
