Brad Pitt and Richard Jenkins discuss the benefits of Killing Them Softly in this new clip

Even though it did not win the Palm D’Or at the Cannes Film Festival this year, KILLING THEM SOFTLY it is still shaping up to be one hell of a good movie.

Director Andrew Dominik (THE ASSASSINATION OF JESSE JAMES BY THE COWARD ROBERT FORD) wrote the screenplay based on the novel Cogan’s Trade by George Higgins. In addition to an awesome poster we have this new clip featuring Brad Pitt and Richard Jenkins in which Pitt explains his preferred method for killing people.

Synopsis: Three dumb guys who think they’re smart rob a Mob protected card game, causing the local criminal economy to collapse. Brad Pitt plays the enforcer hired to track them down and restore order.

In addition to Pitt and Jenkins, KILLING THEM SOFTLY also features James Gandolfini (“The Sopranos”), Ray Liotta (NARC), Scoot McNairy (MONSTERS), Ben Mendelsohn (ANIMAL KINGDOM), Vincent Curatola (“The Sopranos”), Max Casella, Trevor Long, and Sam Shepard. it opens in theaters September 21, 2012.
