How excited are you for Marc Forster’s WORLD WAR Z? If you answered ‘insanely, extremely or very’ then that’s correct. Any other answer is unacceptable. Come on! It’s Brad Pitt in a Marc Forster-directed Max Brooks zombie story! How can there be any bad in that?

Let me rephrase that – I hope there isn’t any bad in that! Because according to The LA Times Forster and Paramount Pictures are looking at WORLD WAR Z as a trilogy and are planning for Brad Pitt to finally have his own franchise with this one. Hey if the first one kicks ass I’m all for it! But let’s not get ahead of ourselves…

The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane, who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself.

Along with Pitt the zombie-drama is also set to star Matthew Fox, David Morse, Mireille Enos (below) and James Badge Dale. This thing isn’t set to hit theaters until December 21st so expect a lot more WORLD WAR Z updates throughout the year.
