Bradley Cooper and Todd Phillips are collaborating once again and are forming a new production company. They have signed a three-year production deal with Warner Bros. Pictures and their first project is already on the move.

THR reports that Phillips has been developing an adaptation of the Rolling Stone article ARMS & THE DUDES by Guy Lawson for a few years now. The article tells the true story of two young guys who won a $300 million contract from the Pentagon to supply America's allies in Afghanistan with munitions. After 85 deliveries to the war-torn country worth over $66 million, their Miami offices were raided by federal agents and the two were charged with 71 counts of fraud. Merica!

The report adds that Jonah Hill has been involved in table reads for ARMS & THE DUDES, but we don't yet know if he will star. Phillips is aiming towards starting production later this year, making this his first movie since THE HANGOVER PART III. The material seems to lend itself to the comedy/drama genre, which would be a different game for Todd Phillips if he were to direct this.

Copper who steadily worked in a variety of roles in-between drunken stupors has also been producing those movies. I hope he attaches himself to star as well. His performance in AMERICAN HUSTLE pushed him to the top of my "actors I’d nervously want to meet" list.

Cooper is currently filming AMERICAN SNIPER with director Clint Eastwood, and can be heard as the voice of Rocket Raccoon in Marvel’s upcoming GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY.
