It's crazy to think that Brian De Palma and Al Pacino have only worked together twice; perhaps it's because of the iconic roles from SCARFACE and CARLITO’S WAY that we often associate the duo together. Now after more than twenty years later they are looking to team up again for RETRIBUTION, a remake of the 2003 Belgian thriller THE MEMORY OF A KILLER.
The plot sounds fantastic; it’s about a hitman with Alzheimer’s who is on the trail of a child prostitution ring. I've included the trailer for the original film below as well. Palma and Pacino have definitely made their share of stinkers; and while they may never reach the success of their last two projects, I’m a sucker a comebacks. I think many of you would agree that they both deserve a comeback.
