Writer/director Martin Koolhoven shot his Western thriller BRIMSTONE on location in Romania, Spain, and Germany last summer, and while we wait to hear release date news for the film, a small batch of images from it have arrived online to give us our first looks at stars Dakota Fanning and Guy Pearce in character.

a young woman running from her past who is being hunted by an evil preacher (Pearce).
Also in the cast are Kit Harington (playing an outlaw), Carice van Houten, Paul Anderson, Jack Roth, and Carla Juri.
The idea of Pearce playing an evil preacher is very intriguing to me, especially with it being in the context of a Western, and in these pictures he certainly doesn't look like a man to be trifled with.
