Thomas Dekker, who genre fans know from his turns in The Sarah Connor Chronicles, NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET and LAID TO REST 1 & 2, will make his directorial debut with JACK GOES HOME, a psychological thriller being prepped for an August shoot. Britt Robertson (TOMORROWLAND) and Nikki Reed (TWILIGHT) have just been added to the cast.

JACK GOES HOME centers on…

a magazine editor named Jack who lives in Los Angeles. After his father is killed in a car crash, Jack travels home to Colorado to help nurse his mother (who was injured in the crash) back to health. There, he uncovers long buried secrets and lies within his family history, his parents, his friends and his very identity.

Reed (pictured below) will play Jack’s best friend and Robertson (pictured above) will play Jack’s fiancee, who is pregnant with their first child. The role of Jack is currently being cast, though it’s looking like Dekker won’t tackle the role; he’s sticking behind the camera on this one.
