Is Josh Brolin trading in JONAH HEX’s six-shooters for a neuralyzer and plasma blaster?
According to the LA Times, the genre-friendly Oscar-worthy actor tops the wish list for the next MEN IN BLACK flick. They don’t know exactly who he’d play, but here’s some speculation: “He could play a new single-monikered government agent, with Tommy Lee Jones’ Agent K passing the baton to Brolin’s character. Or he could play Agent K as a young man. Or something else entirely.”
As we heard just about a month ago, TROPIC THUNDER writer Etan Cohen was at work on a script to bring back the dark-suited secret agents (Jones and Will Smith have not officially agreed to return yet).
Sony is hoping to get the clandestine government guys fending off alien threats (extraterrestrial and domestic) some time next year, although Brolin already has the Coen’s TRUE GRIT and the thriller CARTEL on his schedule.
