Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s seventh season goes retro with an 80s’-style trailer

When Fox cancelled Brooklyn Nine-Nine after five seasons, its legions of passionate fans were greatly upset, but not for long as NBC came to the rescue of the comedy series the very next day. Brooklyn Nine-Nine is still going strong today, with the seventh season set to premiere next month and the series was renewed for an eighth season last year.

The series center around Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg), an immature but talented NYPD detective in Brooklyn's fictional 99th Precinct. There's also Captain Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher), Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz), Terry Jeffords (Terry Crews), Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero), Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio), Gina Linetti (Chelsea Peretti), Micheal Hitchcock (Dirk Blocker), and Norm Scully (Joel McKinnon Miller). NBC has released a new trailer for the upcoming season which gives us a peek at the shenanigans Detective Jake Peralta, former Captain Holt, and the rest of the Nine-Nine team will be getting up to as they take down crime and put away the bad guys.

The seventh season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine will debut on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 8/7c on NBC.
