Why am I not surprised that Bruce Willis played with G.I. Joe action figures? The Joes taught him everything he knows. Now all grown-up, he gets to play the guy that started it all– the original– Joe Colton.

In this featurette for G.I. JOE: RETALIATION, the focus is on Willis and the character he plays. I love hearing Willis talk. He’s such a pleasant and wonderful guy. There’s certainly no one out there like him. While I wasn’t in love with the first G.I. JOE film, I think this one has a lot more going for it, and that thing is the cast. Having Willis on the film is a dream come true for fans. Casting Dwayne Johnson ain’t so bad either.

Synopsis: In this sequel, the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy, Cobra, they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence.

G.I. JOE: RETALIATION, starring Dwayne Johnson, Bruce Willis, Channing Tatum, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Stevenson, Ray Park, Walton Goggins, Arnold Vosloo, D.J. Cotrona, and Jonathan Pryce opens fire on June 29, 2012.
