We got a heads up today from Landau Motion Pictures that they’re making a new horror film, starring George Wendt of ‘Cheers’ none-the-less! And that’s all I really need to know- Norm’s there, so I’m there!
But in case you give a f*ck past the Norm thing, the film’s called BRYAN LOVES YOU, and it’s based on some true events of some cultish take-over shit that went down in Arizona. Or so it claims. Written and directed by Seth Landau, a former writer for The Arizona Republic, BRYAN also stars Daniel Roebuck (THE DEVIL’S REJECTS), Tiffany Shepis (ABOMINABLE) and even a cameo appearance from none-other than Sir Lloyd Kaufman himself. Hells yeah.
Production is about to start filming on location in Phoenix this June. I don’t really remember this cult take-over in Arizona, so I’m hoping that not only will this flick terrorize the hell outta me (cult movies usually do), but that I’ll actually learn something. Like people in cults are bat-shit crazy.
The mask you see here is the mask worn by those freaks in the cult of ‘Bryan’, and let me tell you- the day I walk in a room full of folks wearing this mask, is the day I learn how fast I can really run. And how much ‘ninja’ I have in me.
Stick around for more BRYAN updates, and keep away from cults while you’re at it.
