Director Bryan Singer has taken to the Twitter machine again, this time supplying us with a teaser image simply titled "artifacts" which has some familiar items you'll recognize from X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, including Havok's uniform, Magneto's helmet, and one of Angel's wings. What part do these items play in the upcoming X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST? Your guess is as good as mine, as they could easily be featured in the past or future aspects of the film. In addition, Singer shared a pic of Michael Fassbender rocking a serious pimp hat and sunglasses, making him the smoothest mutant of the '70's.

Take a look:

Cool stuff. Singer's done a good job of keeping the fires alive for the X-franchise while shooting X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, so it's been enjoyable seeing his updates and progress as the film rolls to a stop and prepares for its debut. Singer has talked at length about the film, never revealing too much, and I'm really looking forward to the day when the trailer debuts. If it's anything like the one from Comic Con the reaction will be huge. Look forward to the strikebacks for that one.

X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST hits theaters on May 23, 2013.
