I’ve got to say that the one indie horror that I’m most looking forward to has got to be BLOOD NIGHT: THE LEGEND OF MARY HATCHET. This flick just seems to have all the necessary ingredients in spades from extreme and inventive over-the-top gore to nubile, naked woman to legitimate genre stars like Danielle Harris and Bill Moseley to a writer/director that is a true fan of the scary biz (Frank Sabatella).

I last posted some great pics of BLOOD NIGHT
here as well as its first trailer here. Now, Samantha Hahn, one of the flick’s stars and all-around hottie, has posted a bunch of behind-the-scenes stills on her website. A good time appears to have been had by all. You can check out one pic above, one below, and the rest here. And now, just take a stab at BLOOD’s plot one more time:

A group of teenagers celebrating the anniversary of the death of a local axe murderer suddenly find themselves face to face with the realities of this haunting urban legend.

Simple. Sweet. Sick. That’s the way to do indie horror! BLOOD NIGHT is in post-production and is looking to release some time in 2008.
