Sounding like a Wild West-set TREMORS, THE BURROWERS is about a group of men who set off to find a family of settlers who’ve mysteriously disappeared. Soon they discover that the enemy responsible isn’t pesky natives, but freaky creatures that look something like the concept drawing above.

The flick, to be directed by J.T. Petty (a dude who writes Splinter Cell video games and who is supposedly behind Rogue’s FACES OF DEATH film) has started casting, and started well. Clancy Brown, William Mapother, and Doug Hutchinson are all on board, meaning Petty must be a big LOST fan, since all three actors have popped up on the show.
