I’ve always thought the circus was kind of a scary place. A traveling tent of animal tricks, freak-shows, and let us not forgot the car filled with hundreds of horrifying clowns. That’s really the issue I have with the circus–it’s a breeding ground for clowns, and guess what–no one likes clowns!
According to Aullidos, the upcoming horror flick CIRCUS has a new director attached, which means it’s that much closer to finally being made! Director Daniel Calparsoro is reportedly on board the Filmax production, which goes a little something like this: a family becomes the main attraction of a malevolent circus in the middle of the Nevada desert.
So not only will this movie feature the freakiness of the circus, but it’s in the middle of the desert. And thanks to THE HILLS HAVE EYES, I hate all things that have to do with the desert too. To this day, I’ve never been to New Mexico, and it’s a lifelong goal to never step foot in that state for as long as I live. New Mexico… Nevada… pretty much the same thing.
Calparsoro is currently directing another film called THE COLD before he takes on CIRCUS, so it may be awhile before we see this sucker come to fruitation, and you know what… that’s just fine and dandy by me.

Even hotties dressed like clowns freak me out.
