A few years ago, writer/director David Lowery and stars Casey Affleck and Rooney Mara teamed up to make a film called AIN'T THEM BODIES SAINTS, a deliberately paced indie romantic crime drama that unexpectedly served as a springboard that launched Lowery into the world of big budget children's films – he directed this year's PETE'S DRAGON and is attached to direct a new PETER PAN movie.

Between those two projects, Lowery decided to return to his independent roots, reuniting with Affleck and Mara on what has turned out to be a genre film – it's called A GHOST STORY. Fittingly, it's said to be the

story of a ghost and the house he haunts.

Affleck and Mara are joined in the cast by Will Oldham, Sonia Acevedo, Rob Zabrecky, and Liz Franke.

A GHOST STORY has been chosen to be shown at the next Sundance Film Festival, which will be held from January 19th through the 29th.

That's really all the information we have on this one at this time, but we'll keep you updated as things progress.
