I’ve heard only good things about Michael Winterbottom’s THE KILLER INSIDE ME, an adaption of the Jim Thompson novel of the same name. Casey Affleck stars as a psychopathic town sheriff and Jessica Alba plays his girl who overlooks his little “indiscretions.”
In the trailer we get to see the two of them interact, interspersed with shots of other cast members like Bill Pullman, Kate Hudson and Liam Aiken. It’s a distinctly unnerving two minutes, though very little violence is actually seen.
I’ve been a Casey Affleck fan since he assassinated Jesse James (though that movie was dreadfully boring), and I’m very interested in seeing him in this film, I just hope it ends up expanding wide enough so I can locate it.
