Speaking of animals, does EVAN ALMIGHTY look like a pile of garbage to anyone else? Ok, I’m done. That’s not the animals we’re talkin’ about here, we’re talkin’ ANIMALS, the horror flick that just started filming in Salt Lake City this week. The news? It just cast about 5 new actors in the flick, some of which you’ve heard of, and some of which you haven’t!
Mark Blucas, Nicki Aycox (right), Eva Amurri, Andy Comeau and Naveen Andrews have all been cast in the flick, which is about Not sure where they got the title ANIMALS, but something tells me this isn’t about a pack of killer animals hunting people in the forest. That’d be cool.. but it’s not this movie.
Directed by first time director Doug Aarniokosk (who’s been assistant director to Robert Rodriguez on a few films, including ONCE UPON A TIME IN MEXICO), and adapted to the big screen by Craig Spector, based on his original novel, ANIMALS is being produced by Anonymous Content and T&C Pictures.
I’m glad to see Naveen Andrews in another ‘big screen’ effort, as he totally rocks in LOST, and he did a bang-up job in – face it, the guy’s a pimp! Plus, we haven’t seen hottie Nicki Aycox rockin’ the horror scene since
