CBS assembles Twilight Zone season 2 cast, Jordan Peele writing an episode

CBS All Access is moving ahead with a second season of their Jordan Peele-led reboot of The Twilight Zone, and Julie McNamara, Executive Vice President of Original Content at the streaming service, has revealed the names of fourteen cast members.

Actors who will be showing up in episodes of the season will include Billy Porter, Morena Baccarin, Jenna Elfman, Gillian Jacobs, Chris Meloni, Colman Domingo, Ethan Embry, Tony Hale, Abbie Hern, Sophia Macy, Joel McHale, Jimmi Simpson, and Daniel Sunjata. Style blogger Tavi Gevinson will also be appearing in an episode.

Peele is still on board to host the anthology, in addition to executive producing the series. The GET OUT / US filmmaker will also be writing one of the season's episodes. Titled Downtime, that one will star Baccarin, Domingo, and Hale.

Sunjata, Embry, and Porter star in the episode The Who of You, written by Win Rosenfeld; A Human Face was written by Alex Rubens and stars Elfman, Meloni and Gevinson;  Glen Morgan has written an episode called 8 that features McHale; Simpson and Jacobs star in Meet in the Middle, written by Emily C. Chang and Sara Amini; Hern and Macy are in the episode Among the Untrodden, written by Heather Anne Campbell.

The second season of The Twilight Zone will premiere on CBS All Access later this year.
