Happy St. Patrick’s Day, everyone! Tis a time for green beer, green clothing and green-colored vomit on the sidewalk! As a manner of celebrating the alcohol-soaked holiday we have here for you the first teaser for the brand-new LEPRECHAUN movie, LEPRECHAUN RETURNS. Yes, the tiny terror, known as Lubdan, will return for another round of murderous shenanigans in 2019 on the SyFy channel, and you can prepare for the pot of gore by listening to the character’s insane little limerick.
No, this is not another reboot for you guys. This new movie will be a direct sequel to the 1993 original film (starring Warwick Davis as Lubdan), with this new movie taking place 25 years later. THE VOID director Steven Kostanski takes over here, with Linden Porco playing Lubdan.
Here is a small plot synopsis:
The film picks up 25 years after the events of the 1993 original, which found a maniacal Leprechaun doing whatever it takes (including committing gruesome murder) to track down his stolen pot of gold. Leprechaun Returns finds the leprechaun revived in the modern day when a group of sorority girls unwittingly awaken him while tearing down a cabin to build a new sorority house.
LEPRECHAUN RETURNS will air on the SyFy channel sometime in 2019.
