Central Park trailer presents a musical comedy from Bob’s Burgers creator

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Since its debut last November, Apple TV+ has slowly but steadily launched a handful of new TV shows, but their first animated musical comedy series is just over the horizon. Central Park hails from Loren Bouchard, creator of Bob's Burgers, and follows the Tillermans, a family who lives in New York City's Central Park. Owen (Leslie Odom Jr.) is the park manager and his wife, Paige (Kathryn Hahn) is a jounalist. Together with their children, voiced by Kristen Bell and Titus Burgess, they must fend off hotel heiress Bitsy Brandenham (Stanley Tucci), as well as her long-suffering assistant, Helen (Daveed Diggs), who would love nothing more than to turn the park into condos.

Apple has released a new trailer for Central Park, which you can check out above, and it certainly has the Bob's Burgers vibe; in fact, Loren Bouchard originally developed the series for Fox, but the studio passed on the project, leading to a bidding war between Netflix, Hulu, and Apple.

The first three episodes of Central Park will debut on Apple TV+ on May 29, 2020, after which episodes will be released weekly.
