PROMETHEUS opens in less than three weeks and 20th Century Fox continues to release these bite-size featurettes of behind the scenes info and new footage. Most of the scenes in this clip are new and there is a moment involving fire that may be a bigger plot point than the marketing executives realized.
From the teasers and trailers, Theron’s character has seemed cold and calculating, but she now seems to have some emotion to her in this video. She is just a corporate peon that is there to do her job. She reminds me greatly of Paul Reiser’s character from ALIENS, although a helluva lot more attractive.
I anticipate more of these character-centric videos to pop up leading to PROMETHEUS’ release date on June 8th. I plan to watch each one to gleam everything I possibly can. I am very confident that no matter what footage is shown, once the movie hits screens we will still be blown away.
