I just realized there’s a lot of shark flicks heading our way, isn’t there? We’ve got SHARK NIGHT 3D, BAIT 3D and PIRANHA 3DD for that matter. But what I’m here to talk about today is the shark flick most people seem to be overlooking – the Halle Berry starring DARK TIDE!
Now we haven’t seen much from DARK TIDE since that sales trailer back in June. So where’s this thing been? Moving right along I’d assume because today we’ve got two brand new character stills from the flick for you guys to check out! You can go ahead and get a gander at those to the right and below.
Sara, a modern-day adventurer, who is deeply drawn to close encounters with the magnificent White Sharks who rule the primal predator shore of isolated Guadalupe Island. When her husband chooses ambition over his wife’s safety in a split-second encounter with the jaws of death, her marriage nearly breaks apart. A year later, a monsoon season voyage back to the same island becomes an escalating series of terrifying underwater confrontations and gut-wrenching emotional challenges. Testing her courage in the face of nature’s ultimate terror, she shows herself as tough as the men she is attracted to – and perhaps the bravest of all. Sara endures and changes the terms of the contest with mankind’s most feared underwater predator.
Sure the new stills aren’t anything worth writing home about but at least it’s something right?
The flick stars Halle Berry, Olivier Martinez, Ralph Brown, Adi Shankar, Luke Tyler, Thoko Ntshinga, Sizwe Msutu and Mark Elderkin. Still no word on when we might be seeing DARK TIDE, or from who for that matter, but as soon as more Halle news crosses our paths we’ll be sure to pass the good word along to all of you!
