She’s obviously a “kid” no more! (Yes, I’m fully aware that I’m one of hundreds who will use that very sentence in regards to this image.)

Alexa Vega did the world the kindness of tweeting the below pic of herself on the set of MACHETE KILLS! Robert Rodriguez, who of course directed the actress in the SPY KIDS films, apparently gave her to okay to share with us a look at her character, “Killjoy.”

Vega also tweeted the following: “That bra top has so much detail. The outfits in this movie are insane. I think you guys are going to like it!”

According to The Daily Mail, Killjoy is an assassin who works for Sofia Vergara’s character, Madame Desdemona. In the film, the U.S. government recruits Machete to battle his way through Mexico in order to take down an arms dealer who looks to launch a weapon into space.

MACHETE KILLS also stars Danny Trejo, Mel Gibson, Jessica Alba, Amber Heard, Michelle Rodriguez, Demian Bichir, William Sadler, Vanessa Hudgens and Charlie Sheen. It opens in 2013.

Let us know what you think of Alexa’s new look! (I assume we all feel the same way..?)
