This week several of you will be headed to the theater to check out the holiday releases. I’m not sure if you already made plans but if you haven’t, you might want to make 47 RONIN a possibility. I’ve seen that some of you schmoes are up to give the flick a chance and seem to really dig what you’ve seen from the trailers so far. I’m with you on this one. I love Keanu Reeves, and there’s always room for another martial arts flick.

This fan poster piece from Matt Ferguson looks like something fit for Mondo. What’s great about it is that the print is approved by Universal Studios. I’m glad to see the studio embracing such a great piece of art. What’s even better is that the print will only cost $47. Yeah, not bad at all. If you like what you see, pick one up for yourself here. You might want to get one quick because there’s only 75 prints.

Synopsis:

After a treacherous warlord kills their master and banishes their kind, 47 leaderless samurai vow to seek vengeance and restore honor to their people. Driven from their homes and dispersed across the land, this band of Ronin must seek the help of Kai (Reeves)—a half-breed they once rejected—as they fight their way across a savage world of mythic beasts, shape-shifting witchcraft and wondrous terrors. As this exiled, enslaved outcast becomes their most deadly weapon, he will transform into the hero who inspires this band of outnumbered rebels to seize eternity. Helmed by director Carl Rinsch (The Gift).

47 RONIN hits theaters on December 25, 2013.
