Yesterday brought us the first official still from Justin Kurzel's ASSASSIN’S CREED, showing us Michael Fassbender in his lovely Assassin's garb. The man seems intent on pleasing fans of the series, even going as far as playing the games to get into the "physicality of the character." If that'll help him jump into a haystack from 100 feet, I'm all for it! Still, Empire has dropped a few more pictures, showing off his dual roles as the 15th-century Aguilar and his "modern day" Callum Lynch. Take a look!

While the novelty of the games has worn off several entries ago, I'd say that the concept of experiencing an ancestor's life through the means of a machine is a pretty awesome idea for a film. Given the critical success of MACBETH, Kurzel and Co. have a really good shot at bringing us a legit movie next December. That is, if they still decide to release it one week after Gareth Edwards' ROGUE ONE!

ASSASSIN’S CREED is currently scheduled to hit theaters on December 21, 2016.
