I’ve expressed how much I dug Marcus Dunstan’s THE COLLECTOR before, and in doing so I’ve also told you guys how stoked I am for it’s follow-up THE COLLECTION. So when I stumbled across not only the one-sheet for this thing, but a couple stills too… Well you can just imagine the excitement I’m attempting to contain.
Alright maybe I’m being a bit dramatic but these goods from THE COLLECTION are pretty serious stuff folks. Not only do we get a shot of the first film’s survivor and the mysterious ‘Collector’ but we’re also treated to a still covered in blood and a creepy one-sheet, all coming courtesy of Bloody-Disgusting. Why is said one-sheet dubbed creepy? Well scroll on down below to check it out for yourself! I’ve tossed one of the stills up above with the other, much bloodier one found right over HERE.
Arkin escapes with his life from the vicious grips of “The Collector” during an entrapment party where he adds beautiful Elena to his “Collection.” Instead of recovering from the trauma, Arkin is suddenly abducted from the hospital by mercenaries hired by Elena’s wealthy father. Arkin is blackmailed to team up with the mercenaries and track down The Collector’s booby trapped hide out and save Elena from his sadistic rituals. “The Collection” is a perfect cocktail of primal horror and action suspense thriller in real 3D.
THE COLLECTION will see Josh Stewart return as ‘Arkin’ as well as Johnny Yong Bosch, Emma Fitzpatrick, Shannon Kane, Navi Rawat (below), Tim Griffin, William Peltz, Eaddy Mays, Michael Nardelli, Justin Mortelliti, Michael H. Cole, Arloa Reston, Courtney Lauren Cummings, Lee Tergesen and Christopher McDonald. That’s right people, ‘Shooter f*ckin’ McGavin!’ If that doesn’t sell you, I don’t know what will.
Unfortunately THE COLLECTION is still without a release date but with the unveiling of these new goods hopefully more news on this one won’t be far behind.
