I’ve been pleasantly surprised, for the most part, with what they’ve been able to do with AMERICAN REUNION, a sequel/reboot-y thing that I never really cared about. The high school reunion angle makes sense as a reason to get all these guys together and I hope that in between all the dick jokes, there’ll be some reflection on their lives and the inherent sadness in reunions. (But also I wants some boobs.)
The final poster for the film is online today and is very much like the original poster. In fact it is the original poster with the exception of a baby bottle instead of a flute and the pie is now half-eaten. Oooh, that’s a metaphor for life!
