After the cool one-hour recap of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with ABC's Marvel Studios: Assembling A Universe special which revealed a slew of cool new images of upcoming Phase Two films GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY and THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, as well as a little-known sequel that debuts in a few weeks called CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER. At this point the trailers, TV spots, clips, and posters have more than sold the film to the masses, but now Marvel has gone a step further and released the first 10 minutes of the film for your perusal. Fortunately, it's not a spoiler-filled 10 minutes, depending on how you measure that kind of thing (the last half is the same clip that was previously released), but for those that simply can't turn away, I won't begrudge you. For those that are on the fence for ol' Cap, perhaps this is just the push you need…

Personally, I don't think I've been this excited about a film since THE AVENGERS. While I love all types of films, from lesser-known indies, Oscar bait dramas, slapstick comedies, etc., the comic-book genre is simply kicking serious ass in terms of quality and excitement. It's the safest bet in town and my ticket is already bought (literally). I can't wait to sit in a theater with fellow movie and comic geeks on opening night. That's what it's all about.
