I don’t know about the rest of you but ever since we first heard about the Korean 3D monster movie SECTOR 7 I’ve been looking forward to this bad larry. Even though I have to say my favorite sub-genre of horror is still the beloved slasher, I love myself a good monster movie time and time again. And from the get-go my gut has been telling me SECTOR 7 is going to be one vicious ride! And if today’s stills are any indication that’s exactly what we’re getting!

You see the site SciFiJapan recently ran an article about SECTOR 7 and in said article they’ve included not one, not two… but three awesome shots of the film’s epic creature! That’s right folks, we’ve finally got a look at this baddie and it turns out this thing is one ugly son-of-a-b*tch! Talk about a face only a mother could love..

Above and below I’ve tossed up the close-ups of this cuddly bastard and down a little further we’ve even got an evolution chart of sorts for this creature. See the kicker here folks? Apparently this thing starts off all cute and tiny… But it sure as hell doesn’t stay that way! Scroll away for the goods then head on over to SciFiJapan for larger shots of this thing!

But that’s not all! We’ve also got another quick video for you guys that offers up loads more behind the scenes footage from SECTOR 7. As if you couldn’t have guessed, the video is indeed in Korean but you can scroll down below to check it out anyway. We don’t need to understand what they’re saying to enjoy it, right? Right.

In “Sector 7”, an underwater oil field located south of Jeju Island, Hae-jun is working as a marine equipment manager on an oil prospecting ship called Eclipse. Joining the crew later is Jeong-man, a former colleague of Hae-jun’s father, assigned to Eclipse as captain. Though his job is to oversee the withdrawal of the ship, he suggests conducting some drilling one last time.

After 3 weeks of preparation, Hae-jun takes new recruit underwater, but he sinks to the bottom of the sea when the equipment fails. Shortly crew members begin to turn up dead, one by one, their bodies viciously multilated.

What the few survivors soon discover is a transparent underwater creature they encountered once before. The viral monster infiltrated the ship through the drilling pipe and has been feeding on the crew to survive. Hae-jun and his colleagues’ frantic fight for their lives begins.

SECTOR 7 comes from director Kim Ji-hoon and stars Ha Ji-won (below), Ahn Seong-gi, Lee Han-wee, Park Cheol-min, Oh Ji-ho, Song Sae-byeok and Cha Ye-ryeon. This little diddy is currently kicking it in Korean theaters with a US release hopefully soon to follow.
