Filming is currently underway on the first part of Andy Muschietti's film remake of Stephen King's IT, and the Ontario town  of Port Hope has been converted into the sleepy Derry, Maine. Below you can check out images from Derry's various locales, including the local library, the ice cream shop, and the movie theater! Make sure to check what's playing on the marquee, it might just be up your alley! Also, it is a valuable indication of what time period this remake will be taking place in.

Seven children known as The Losers Club who come face to face with life problems, bullies and a monster that takes the shape of a clown called Pennywise (Bill Skarsgård).

The cast of kids in Pennywise's sights includes Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs and Jeremy Ray Taylor. Their bullies will be played by Owen Teague and Nicholas Hamilton. Javier Botet will fill an as-yet unspecified role.

The plan is for the first movie to focus on Pennywise tormenting the characters listed above as children, with the second movie seeing them face off with "It" again as adults.

IT part one is set to be released into theatres on September 8, 2017, one year and two days after filming wraps.
