There used to be a time when video games were just games. Now, they are pretty much interactive movies will Hollywood caliber acting, writing, and directing. The line between movies and games is blurring more and more and the results are often spectacular.

One franchise that is often listed as having big screen potential is Call of Duty. There have been rumors for years of a possible film being made based on the Black Ops games. But, with the talents of David Goyer and Trent Reznor on a video game, there may not be a need to suffer the high cost of making a movie.

Regarding the creation of the game: To create a game like Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Treyarch assembled some of the greatest talents in the world. David S. Goyer (co-writer of The Dark Knight Rises), Trent Reznor (Academy Award-winning composer of The Social Network), join Studio Head, Mark Lamia and the game’s Director, Dave Anthony, to discuss the relationship between movies, music and games, as well as the creative process behind Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

Plot: Raul Menendez is idolized as the Messiah of the 99%, yet underneath the surface lurks an insidious mastermind hell bent on global insurrection. Created in collaboration with David S. Goyer (co-writer of The Dark Knight Rises) and Trent Reznor (Academy Award-winning composer of The Social Network), Treyarch and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 have redefined storytelling in the franchise.

CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS II will be released on November 13, 2012.
