We have a new EXCLUSIVE clip from the upcoming thriller, The Desperate Hour, directed by the legendary Phillip Noyce (Dead Calm) and starring Naomi Watts, who is in a race against time to save her child after police place her hometown on lockdown due to an active shooter incident.

Per the film’s official synopsis, “Unfolding in real time, THE DESPERATE HOUR is a “riveting and pulse pounding” thriller from award-winning director Phillip Noyce. Recently widowed mother Amy Carr (Academy Award®-nominee Naomi Watts) is doing her best to restore normalcy to the lives of her young daughter and teenage son in their small town. As she’s on a jog in the woods, she finds her town thrown into chaos as a shooting takes place at her son’s school. Miles away on foot in the dense forest, Amy desperately races against time to save her son.”

Originally titled Lakewood, The Desperate Hour was shot in the North Bay area of Ontario in 2020. The Desperate Hour was produced by Watts, Sparling, David Boies, Andrew Corkin, Alex Lalonde, Chris Parker, Zack Schiller, and Dylan Sellers. Devin Andre, Alex Dong, Theo James, Aaron Kaplan, and Tyler Zacharia served as executive producers. 

The film premiered at the 2021 Toronto International Film Festival and is scheduled to be theatrically released by Roadside Attractions and Vertical Entertainment on February 25, 2022.
