This is why I love the horror genre. The independent horror scene is growing faster every day and because of that we’ve been treated to some memorable classics throughout the years, all thanks to filmmakers like Lowell Dean. Dean has written and directed WOLF COP, his second feature film, that looks like a horror film straight out of the glorious grindhouse days.

The WolfCop story is centered on alcoholic cop Lou Garou. It’s not unusual for Lou to black out and wake up in unfamiliar surroundings, but lately things have taken a strange turn. Crime scenes seem oddly familiar. His senses are heightened and when the full moon is out, he is a rage-fueled werewolf. WolfCop is one cop’s quest to become a better man…One transformation at a time.

WOLF COP looks to have that perfect blend of horror and comedy which is said to be in the same vein of EVIL DEAD and AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON — throw in some fantastic practical effects and we just might have a hit on our hands.

The Saskatchewan team behind the horror-comedy WOLF COP take part in CineCoup’s weekly challenges as they attempt to gain attention and fan votes on their film’s two-minute trailer using social media platforms — to find out more about this wicked little flick, just click HERE.
