Director Bryan Singer has taken to the Twitter machine yet again, this time teleporting us to the 1970's for a groovy look at Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) and Beast (Nicholas Hoult) in era-specific threads, while standing in a very familiar metallic hallway in the currently filming X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST.  Nothing like paisley, leather, and courderoy to set the tone for the disco decade. Let's just hope neither of them are wearing platform shoes, although that would be pretty damn funny. But, not necessarily in a good way.

Check it out:

I'm looking forward to seeing X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST (duh!), but I'm a bit apprehensive with Singer at the helm. He's a talented filmmaker, but I've enjoyed his non-event pictures (THE USUAL SUSPECTS, VALKYRIE) more than his big-budget fare. JACK THE GIANT SLAYER was kind of awful and I'm hoping that he can transcend that debacle.

X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, starring Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, Ian McKellan, Omar Sy,Jennifer Lawrence, Anna Paquin, Nicholas Hoult, Peter Dinklage, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Daniel Cudmore, Booboo Stewart, and Eric West is slated for theaters on July 18, 2014.
