It’s rare that we get a cool horror special on TV once October passes by, but we have cool genre channels like Chiller TV to remedy that. The network will be airing a special entitled CHILLER 13: THE DECADE’S SCARIEST MOMENTS, which – you guessed it – is a countdown of the thirteen most frightening horror moments from 2000-2010.

Chiller will air the special on December 17th at 8 PM. It will feature THE WALKING DEAD special effects guru Greg Nicotero, CANDYMAN himself Tony Todd, SAW 3D actress Betsy Russell (below), 30 DAYS OF NIGHT writer Steve Niles, MAY director Lucky McKee, and more talking about their scariest moments.

A promo video for the event (which you can watch HERE) features footage from THE RING, THE STRANGERS, DRAG ME TO HELL, SAW, HOSTEL, THE DESCENT, and 30 DAYS OF NIGHT, so we can assume they’ll be on the list. What else do you think will make the cut?

Chiller TV is currently available in 40 million homes. If you’re not one of them, you better talk to your cable or satellite provider soon, because December 17th is just around the corner. Mark your calendars!
