While they don’t offer up much in the way of new information about the movie, these new images from JURASSIC WORLD do lend themselves to speculation. Many of us have thought for some time that the raptors might take on a more domesticated role this time around; we saw them running alongside Chris Pratt in the trailer and the image below seems to show him wrangling up his clever girls.
It would definitely be something different to see the raptors as allies in the new movie. I’ll miss the days of long grass moving with a raptor hunting down its human prey, but alas, if the humans once again won’t listen to reason, Pratt has to look to the animals.
The movie also stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Vincent D’Onofrio, Irrfan Khan, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy and Judy Greer. JURASSIC WORLD opens in theaters in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D on June 12, 2015.
