Christopher Nolan’s Tenet gets new trailer ahead of July release

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

While most potential blockbusters vacated their summer release dates, one that stood firm and refused to be delayed is writer/director Christopher Nolan's sci-fi action espionage movie TENET. Nolan and Warner Bros. insist that it's going to make its July 17th release date… so we'll have to wait and see if it really does stick to that date, and – if it does – how many moviegoers are going to be willing to pack themselves into theatres when the time comes.

With just under two months to go until we reach July 17th, a new trailer for TENET has arrived online and can be seen above.

John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy, Michael Caine, Kenneth Branagh, Himesh Patel, Martin Donovan, and Denzil Smith star in the film.

Here's the official synopsis:

John David Washington is the new Protagonist in Christopher Nolan’s original sci-fi action spectacle “Tenet.”

Armed with only one word—Tenet—and fighting for the survival of the entire world, the Protagonist journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real time.

Not time travel. Inversion.

Nolan produced TENET with Emma Thomas.
