I personally grooved to
SEED OF CHUCKY
(read my review here) and this recently revealed DVD news slapped a
big smile on my face.
DAVIS DVD got the scoop on what we should
expect when “The killer doll that could” will hit our homes on April 12 2005.
Here’s the skinny:
We will get three separate DVD editions:
-A fullscreen R-rated theatrical cut
-An anamorphic widescreen unrated extended edition
-A fullscreen unrated extended edition.
All three disks will sport:
–Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS Surround tracks.
The
EXTRAS will be:
– udio commentary
– Conceiving The Seed of Chucky (behind-the-scenes featurette)
– FuZion Up Close (behind-the-scenes interviews with Chucky and Tiffany)
– Family Hell-iday Slide Show (The Chucky family
hosts the first viewing of their exploits through Paris, New York and Hollywood)
– Jennifer Tilly’s video diary from The Tonight Show and Trailers.
– Slashed
– Heeeeeere’s Chucky! (in-depth interview with Chucky including his early
screen tests).
Looks like I’ll be eating, breathing and living Chucky for at least a day in
April when I get the DVD. YIPPEE! The only question that remains is: Who’s the
genius that’s actually going to purchase the Full Screen R-Rated Cut when the
Full Screen and Widescreen Unrated Cuts
