CinemaCon trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s Glass reveals new details

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

During Universal's panel of CinemaCon 2018, Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, James McAvoy, Sarah Paulson and M. Night Shyamalan took the stage to speak about GLASS, the upcoming sequel to both UNBREAKABLE (2000) and SPLIT (2016). As their talk began, Shyamalan addressed the crowd to inform them that "Glass is the first truly grounded comic book movie." To which Jackson then joked, "And it’s about time I got the title role in my own mothafuckin’ movie." I would imagine that this got a big laugh from the crowd.

As the presentation continued, our own Paul Shirey was in attendance, and had the following to say about the upcoming film's new trailer:

Scheduled for release on January 18, 2019, GLASS follows Security guard David Dunn as he uses his supernatural abilities to track Kevin Wendell Crumb, a disturbed man who has 24 personalities.
