Civil War will contain hints for Thor 3; Lady Sif to have pivotal role

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

You may recognize Jaimie Alexander‘s Asgardian warrior, Lady Sif, from a few scenes in both THOR and THOR: THE DARK WORLD. While she’s been relegated to popping up in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for the time being, it looks like her character is really going to get in on the action coming THOR: RAGNAROK. Alexander said this much when speaking with the L.A. Times, admitting that Marvel’s generally reluctant to give her much information because they know she’s quick to confide.

Jaimie Alexander on Lady Sif’s role in the future:

Marvel, I think on purpose, they don’t tell me certain things. Because they know I’ll be like, “So here’s what’s gonna happen.” But I do know I will be in THOR 3 and that Sif will have a very pivotal part in that movie. I just can’t tell you what because I’ll get shot.

Regarding easter eggs for RAGNAROK:

Yeah, there’s a lot of great stuff they’ve peppered in through “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” “The Avengers,” “Captain” will have some stuff. There’s just all kind of Easter eggs and hints, if you’re really paying attention. They’re so good at interweaving everything throughout those films.

Coming from someone who’s not well-versed with the Thor comics, I’ve found the solo films to be lacking the weight needed to make them gripping or interesting. For me, Thor has never really worked as the main character. With that said, I did enjoy the blonde one’s time kicking ass with his battle mates in THE DARK WORLD. Given the title of the upcoming THOR: RAGNAROK, I hope this will mean the scope is opened up to include a lot of other characters from Thor’s universe.

THOR: RAGNAROK is scheduled to hit theaters on November 3, 2017.

You want to give Jaimie Alexander a bigger role in THOR: RAGNAROK? Great idea! Wonderful idea! Perfect!
