Cloverfield trailer!

Earlier this week we got word that the trailer for the JJ Abrams produced alien invasion movie tentatively titled CLOVERFIELD would be attached to all prints of TRANSFORMERS starting yesterday, and low & behold… it was true!

Some sneaky bastard with a video camera caught the whole thing and posted it up on YouTube, and you know we had to check it out! Obviously, if you wanna keep it a surprise, don’t watch and wait for TRANSFORMERS, but if you’re like me and can’t wait, check it out below. It’s low quality and obviously bootleg, but you can get the gist.

Personally, I flippin’ loved it! While it’s ridiculous, INDEPENDENCE DAY is still one of my favorite popcorn movies, and this looks like it’s going to take that to the next level. Awesome. Seriously, the trailer is awesome. So awesome, that most people will probably not notice that we’re not even given the title of the damn thing, just that it hits this January. Sweet! I don’t know if I could wait until next July for this one!
