Sometimes we get some really cool projects come across our desks here at AITH headquarters, and sometimes… just sometimes… we don’t. As in, movies are made, come out and go by without us even hearing or knowing about them. Then, months later, we discover these little gems and BAM! it feels like Christmas all over again.
Such is the case of CODENAME: YIN YANG, an action/zombie/comedy that came out last December and is just now forming a bleep on our radar. How’d this happen? I don’t know, but enough worrying about the whys and jump right into it. Savage Dog Films threw us the film’s kick ass trailer, and man-o-man is it awesome!
But first, what’s CODENAME: YIN YANG all about?
In the Pentagon, the CIA is planning a new route of conquest and the tiny State of Denmark is where the first field testing of a new military genetic serum will happen.
As Denmark is torn apart from the inside by the serum-infected population, now frothing flesh-tearing zombies, the remnants of the Government has only one choice left; to unleash the most deadly assasination team in human history; known only as Codename: Yin/Yang.
The fate of a nation lies on the edge of a razor-sharp Katana and down the barrels of a high powered assault rifle.
With a story like that, and a tag line like this (“There’s something rotten in the state of Denmark…“), you know it’s going to rock. Plus, did I mention hot chicks are the ones kicking all the ass here? Cause they are. What more could you want?
