It’s been almost an entire year since we last wrote about the next installment in the Coffin Joe sage EMBODIMENT OF EVIL. Now we finally have a huge collection of pics to show you! And you know what? While I’m not very familiar with the whole “Coffin Joe” series, I will say that I enjoyed these current pics thoroughly. Here’s the simple plot of the latest installment:
Released from an asylum after 40 years, Coffin Joe renews his quest for “continuation of the blood”. He seeks the “perfect” woman who is qualified to bear his “superior” child.
I wonder if the girl in the picture up top is his first choice? She certainly has my approval. EMBODIMENT was directed by the original Coffin Joe himself, José Mojica Marins (who plays Joe again this time around). Marins co-wrote the script with Dennison Ramalho. The rest of the cast consists of Raymond Castile, Eduardo Chagas, Milhem Cortaz, Giulio Lopes, José Celso Martinez Corrêa, Luís Melo, Débora Muniz. The flick is set to open in Brazil in 2008.
