Riverdale's Cole Sprouse has signed on to produce and lend his voice to the thriller podcast BORRASCA, which audio studio QCode will be releasing in April.

Written by Rebecca Klingel, who worked on the Netflix series The Haunting of Hill House and will also be scripting episodes of the show's second season, The Haunting of Bly Manor, BORRASCA will tell the story of

Sam Walker, whose parents move him and his sister to the picturesque mountain town of Drisking, Missouri. It quickly becomes clear there may be more to the town than what they can see on the surface. When his sister suddenly disappears, Sam becomes obsessed with untangling the local lore, the juvenile rhymes and legends taking on an entirely new – and dark – meaning as more teens continue to disappear.

If this story sounds familiar to you, that may be because the podcast was inspired by a creepypasta story that made its debut online several years ago.

While I listen to a lot of podcasts, I've only listened to a couple that were telling narrative stories. I might have to check out some more of them.
