Come True: trippy sci-fi horror film gets new release date

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

IFC Midnight has just acquired the rights to distribute the supernatural sci-fi horror-thriller Come True, which will now be coming to select theaters (check your local listings) and on VOD platforms March 12! This is exciting for me, as I really enjoyed the initial teaser trailer for the indie feature (which you can see for yourself at the top of the article), and am looking forward to finally checking it out!

Here's the official synopsis:

High school student Sarah (Stone) is at her lowest point yet when she runs away from home and finds herself with no one to rely on and struggling with recurring nightmares. She chances upon a university sleep study that offers the promise of safety and money and brings her an unexpected friend and confidant in the overseeing scientist Jeremy (Liboiron). But there's something curious about proceedings, and being under observation seems to make Sarah's disturbing dreams even worse. As the darkness begins to close in, it's soon clear that Sarah has unknowingly become the conduit to a horrifying, new discovery…

Meanwhile, Come True is directed by Anthony Scott Burns and stars Landon Liboiron, Skylar Radzion, and Julia Sarah Stone.

So what do you guys think? Either way, sound off below!
