HGTV is partnering with Summit Entertainment to create an ENDER’S GAME exclusive fan experience exhibit as part of the studio’s highly anticipated film promotion for Comic-Con 2013 International in San Diego.

Inside the ENDER’S GAME activation, located outside the Hilton Gaslamp district, HGTV showcases its “Journey Begins at Home” space-an interpretation of the Wiggins home living room-among eight elaborate, specially constructed, unique rooms that represent the most iconic environments of Ender’s world, complete with original film props and set pieces used in the movie.

During the four-day event that runs July 18-21, “Ender’s Game” visitors can see exclusive film footage on LED screens, interact with new digital content, integrate photos of themselves into the highly anticipated Battle Room and enter the sweepstakes for the chance to win $10,000 courtesy of HGTV for their own “out of this world” home makeover. As the “Journey Begins At Home” in “Ender’s Game,” HGTV’s space showcases a sneak peek at a home of the future.

We will actually be there in just one day, so keep your eyes peeled for a report from this very cool “experience.”

Based on the best-selling, award winning novel, ENDER’S GAME is an epic adventure directed by Gavin Hood starring Asa Butterfield, Hailee Steinfeld, Ben Kingsley, Viola Davis, with Abigail Breslin and Harrison Ford. In the near future, a hostile alien race has attacked Earth. In preparation for the next attack, the humans begin training only the best students to find their future leader. Ender Wiggin, a shy but strategically brilliant young man is pulled out of his school to join the elite. Arriving at Battle School, Ender quickly and easily masters the training, distinguishing himself and winning respect amongst his peers. He is soon ordained as the military’s next great hope and is charged to lead his fellow soldiers into an epic battle that will determine the future of Earth and save the human race.

Summit Entertainment will release the film domestically November 1, 2013.
