Netflix's 80's throwback genre series Stranger Things has been the talk of the town since its premire on July 15th, but exactly how 80's-inspired is it? In this video from Ulysse Thevenon, you can see side-by-side comparisons of Stranger Things and every film from the 70's and 80's that the show pays homage to. It's spectacularly detailed, and it's a must-see if you're a fan of the show. Which is a group that includes pretty much everyone in the world at this point. Set in Hawkins, Indiana in the 1980's. It chronicles the search for a young boy who vanishes into thin air under highly suspicious circumstances. His mother opens an investigation into the boy's disappearance with local authorities that unravels a series of mysteries involving top-secret government experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and one very strange little girl. 

The cast includes Winona Ryder, Charlie Heaton, David Harbour, Matthew Modine, Millie Brown, Natalia Dyer, and Carla Buono.

The eight-episode first season of Stranger Things is currently available on Netflix.
